Brief History of PCG Bethel Congregation
The history of Bethel began as a preaching post in November 2016 in South-East London. Rev. Mrs. Gifty Abogye, then a member of PCG Trinity congregation, decided to relocate to Wolverhampton. It was during this time that Rev. Peter Kofi Nyarko, the past Europe Presbytery Chairperson, encouraged her to begin a branch in Wolverhampton. It all began on 4th, December, 2016 at 7 Thorne Street, Wolverhampton, as a family fellowship with five (5) people, being the Abogye family.
Mr. and Rev. Mrs Gifty Aboagye decided to embark on evangelism as far as Smethwick. On the 28th May, 2017 by God' grace, the family was joined by 2 adult and 1 child, increasing the number to eight (8) members.  On the 4th June, 2017, the  church moved to their first place of worship at Eastfield community centre, Wolverhampton. In total twenty-one (21) people attended worship service. Currently the church worship at Griffiths Drive Ashmore Park WV11 2LJ. Service starts at 20:00pm to 4:00pm every Sunday.
